Back to Normal...

Christmas has come and gone! Hope you all had a great one!! We sure did! It was crazy but Chrsitmas Day always is! Maci put special reindeer food out on the grass Christmas Eve, the tag said they can smell it 100 miles away and it will get them to your house faster! In the letter Santa left for her he told her that it worked!! She has been so much fun this year, she really got into it. We left cookies and milk out and then she said that the reindeer would want carrots and ranch too! So cute! Santa was good to all of us this year, especially me. I got professional lights for photography, pots and pans and more! Brian got a new camera, he always complains about how big mine is so now he can have his own to carry around. Maci got her first American Girl doll from Great Gram and Ginny. Molly, which was Mommy's first one too! She loves it she says that is her favorite and as well as her trampoline! Kernan was more into eating the paper and trash from all the packages!

After we opened all of our presents we always go out to breakfast with my family, it has been something my family has done since before I can remember! Then we go back to their house to open our presents from eachother and hang out for a bit.
Then it's off to Brian's parents house for dinner and presents, Poppy and Nonna got Kernan a tricycle. Poppy pushed him all around the house when we got there! It was kinda sad over there. Jack, their little black dog ran out into the street and was hit and killed by a car at 11 o'clock Christmas Eve. We were all sad for him and them, Brian and I just kept thinking... what if it had been one of our dogs. Jack will be missed but the good news is, his Mom and Dad are pregnant again and expecting in Febuary so they will be able to have one of his brothers!
Hope you all had a great Christmas, I love this time of year! I love to think of the birth of Jesus Christ and everything he has done for us! Because of him we can be a family together again! Which reminds me, I was on the tramp with Maci on Tuesday and she was lying on her back looking up at the sky and she asked me, "Mom, how high is Broc up there?" I love her comments and questions about him! They come from nowhere but it seems it's right when I need to hear them! Have a great week!

Merry Christmas!!

Yesterday was so fun!! My two best friends from Oregon and I got together to have breakfast. It's so fun to still be in contact with them, the one in the middle is Laura and she ended up marrying an Arizona native and now lives here which is so cool and Cameo just graduated from BYU Utah with a degree in Education. I love getting together with them we have such fond memories from our childhood.....

I know I'm not going to have a chance to blog tomorrow, so I just wanted to say to all of you Merry Christmas! Hope you all have a great day tomorrow! These are a couple pictures of the kids right before we left for church today!

So from our family to yours.... MERRY CHIRSTMAS!!

Daddy's Buckaroo!

I took some pictures yesterday of a project I just finished up for Brian for Christmas. Have you heard the new song on country that is called "Watching You" by Rodney Atkins? Well, it's Brian's new favorite. It talks about a little boy watching his Dad and wanting to be just like him. There is a line it that says "your buckaroo" so I took pictures of Kernan with a cowboy hat and my Dad's old cowboy boots, they turned out SO CUTE!!! Here are a few.... but don't tell Brian until Tuesday! Thanks!

This one is my FAVORITE! I got it in a 5x7 to hang on my wall!

Sad News...

We have some sad news to report from our house... My bird "All B's" died today! I've had him since the 8th grade, my parents told me that if I got all A's and B's on my report card I could get a bird. (Hence the name All B's) Well my Dad thought we were going to get a $10 paraket but we came home with a $60 cockatial! He was the best bird ever and although my Husband and Dad are jumping up and down, everyone else is very sad! We took the whole family out (dog's too) to the desert to bury him. My sweet daughter, when we told her that we were going to go bury him she asked if we were taking him to Babyland with Broc. The innocence of a child! I love her! I was talking to my Mom on the way home from burying him, she thinks we should go on Monday and buy the paraket we were supposed to get. hahaha!! But Brian has already told me NO! So sad!! All B's will be missed!
On a lighter note, I did a photo shoot for one of my friends yesterday and I'm pretty proud of how the pictures turned out! I'll post them later! Right now it's off to bed!

LOVE this picture!!

I took this picture last night of these three, I totally LOVE it! My family is so photogenic! Good thing because I'm in love with my camera! So they really don't have a choice!
After the picture, Maci put Kernan on his blanket and pulled him all around the front room! It was so cute, he just laid there and let her pull him around! So cute!

It is offically Christmas time! We took a Christmas tree down to Babyland, it's a new tradition we started last year(obviously) but it sure makes the Christmas season for me! We sure miss that little boy, but am very glad we have Kernan this year! He brings us so much joy! Sorry for the sappiness, I just always count my blessings this time of year!! Hope you all do the same! We all have a lot to be thankful for!!

Have a good week~
