Picture Fun...

We had some fun yesterday! I took these pictures of the kids for the birthday invites.... The new lens I got is exactly what I was wanting!! Just wanted to share some of my favorites! Have a good rest of the week!

Quick Update...

So my birthday was good! Thanks for all the birthday wishes!! I made out good this year! I got a new lens for my camera, pictures taken with it are in the post above.... I got a PINK cell phone! (I LOVE pink!!) My Mom went with the Pepsi theme this year! I got a couple things for my kitchen and a gift card to Cobblestone for my Pepsi I get everyday (except Sunday)!

Next birthday... Kernan! I can't belive he is 1 already!! But the big one is Maci's right after, she'll be 5!! We just went to Kindergarten round up last night for her!! I can't belive my baby girl is starting Kindergarten!

Hahaha! That's a funny title!! Anyway, just wanted to share a few things I've been doing...


This is a "paper bag" album... for those that don't scrapbook this is made out of brown paper bags, it was my first one ever and I was pretty pleased with it!! This was a gift for one of my friends...


This is a page for a page swap, I really liked how it turned out as well! I added "friends" up the left side by the flower....

This is the layout I did with my 5 favorite things, I got it back yesterday so I wanted to share!

I also worked on another gift but I haven't given it to her yet and she reads my blog so I'll post that picture after it's been given!!




In other news, we aren't to busy this weekend, Brian had a side job and now he is working on his new dirt bike... That's the excitement at our house, tomorrow is my birthday! So that's one exciting thing! Hope you all are having a good weekend, the weather here is perfect!! I love AZ!!

While Daddy was away...

Well while Brian was gone this weekend down at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We cleaned the house!! All day Saturday was deep cleaning at my house!!! It needed to be done!! I also got to take pictures of my Brother and his girlfriend before they left for Prom and the next day(so we could have some sun!) Don't they look cute!!!

This is Audra's DREAM truck so Kolby found someone to let him take her to Prom in it! They had a good time! My brother only has 7 more weeks of school and then he graduates!! My little brother is growing up!!

Speaking of growing up my little 4 year old daughter's boyfriend had his farewell this weekend, he is going to Hungry (Sp?) and reports to the MTC today! Here is a picture I snapped of them at his open house! Maci is in love with it, she is getting it in a 5x7 and a special frame to put next to her bed!! She says she's going to write him a lot!! She drew him a picture of the two of them and wrote "I Love You" on it and gave it to him before he left!! I'm cool with this boy! He's going to be a returned missionary and she has NO interest in the little 4 year old boys in her preschool because her eyes are set on Tejay!! If you come to our house she immediately shows you the picture of Tejay she has! To cute!!

The "boys" Grand Canyon Trip...

Well, they survived again! hahaha! And so did I! I was worried about this trip because it was the first time I have ever slept in my bed at my house by myself! I'm always the one going off to Utah and California and leaving Brian, but I did it!! They had a lot of fun again this year! The fishing was supposed to be great in March down there but it Sucked!! (according to Brian) Here are some of the pictures he took.....





He said this is the best thing to see at the top of the canyon!! The Truck, it means they made it!!

So this sounds like an easy question but really it's not!! A local scrapbook store here, Scrap Happy Sisters, had this contest, if you brought in a layout with your 5 favorite THINGS you would get a $10 coupon and a chance to win a bigger prize. (I didn't win the bigger prize, I never win anything!) Anyway, so I came up with my 5, think you know what they are?? You wont be shocked here, I promise! Especially if you know me!! PS~ they have to be THINGS not people!
They are in no specific order:

My Giraffe~ This is the animal they brought back with Broc after they bathed him and got him all dressed. I've slept with it every night since! (almost 2 years can you believe that?!? I can't!)

Taco Bell~ This one was the 5th one that I thought of, it was the hardest!! I don't know if it's because I knew I didn't get more to choose from or what but the 5th is a hard one! You try it!! Remember, it's THINGS not people!

I was thinking about choosing my computer, that's what Brian said I should choose. But then I thought of Taco Bell so we had a Q&A to figure out which one deserved the spot. How long have you been on the computer in the last 4 days?? I said " I don't know I can't remember!" But I had Taco Bell for lunch on Friday, dinner on Friday. Lunch on Saturday, lunch today (Monday) and I'm willing to have it for dinner so I can get a picture! Plus when I turned 16 Taco Bell was the first place I drove to all by myself!! Needless to say, Taco Bell won!!

Now you try, I promise you the 5th will be the hardest!! I loved how this layout turned out too! I forgot to take a picture of it before I took it down to the store, so as soon as I get it I'll take a picture and post it! Have a wonderful Friday!!

Weekend Update...

Well this is how our Saturday started.... 15 TONS of rock dumped in front of our house. Doesn't that sound like a "ton" of fun?! HaHa! Kernan and Brian were very excited, isn't that the cutest picture of the two of them? They were both into the rock being dumped out of the truck!














Brian made it easier on all of us by going and renting a Bob Cat for 4 hours. He says it was worth every penny!! Kernan rode in it with him for about an hour and then fell asleep in it!! He is such a boy!!



Then we had to get cleaned up and go to a wedding reception for Chelsey Barton (now Tanner) it was a lot of fun, I love to go to these thing because you see people you would usually lose contact with! She looked beautiful and so did Natalie (she was a bridesmaid).

This is Kernan waving, he figured out how to do that awhile ago. When we were getting ready to leave I asked him if he was ready to go and he started waving bye-bye!



Then came Sunday, church and relaxing! Hope you all had a great weekend!!

Where does the time go?!?

It has been awhile since I've posted anything!! Where does the time go?? Not to much has happened, that's why I haven't blogged!!

These are a couple of pictures I took of the kids on Valentine's Day. We didn't do much, we bought a new car that day from a guy that works with Brian so we had to go down to work to pick it up. Then we came home because we had to be here in time for LOST!! We don't see it as a big deal anymore, why do we need one specific day to say "I Love You" to eachother and our kids?? Just my opinion, when we were dating it was a big thing but now it's not so important! We got the kids a little toy and some candy, I got roses and that was it! But didn't our kids look cute?? :)

Yesterday was Brian's birthday! His daughter wanted to have a CARS birthday, since Mator is his favorite! So that's what he got! She was so cute, she wanted it to be a surprise so when he got home from work she was hiding behind the couch and she yelled SURPRISE when he walked through the door, it was so cute!!

I had a little fun with him, I put trick candles on his cake, hahaha!!! It was funny to watch!!
Kernan wasn't to sure of the fire, I love the look on his face!!


We then let him get in his chair and practice for his birthday, I'd say he had a very good practice run! Started off fairly clean but ended up with it all over his face, stomach, hair, pretty much every nook and crany!! He is totally his fathers kid! He loved every minute of it!!

That's really all the lastest with our family! Just busy with kids, church and work. I've been really busy with signs lately and doesn't look to be slowing down, which is good. I'll try to be better and post more often! I look at everyone's everyday, just not my own so I lost track of time with it!! Hope you all have a great weekend! We don't have major plans, Brian is getting 15 tons of rock delivered on Saturday and has rented a Bobcat for the day, those are his plans! I'm going to be doing vinyl work! Talk to you all soon!!
