Broc's Day

Can you believe it's been TWO years?!? Time is a funny thing! It seems like it was just yesterday!! For those of you that don't know, our family lost this little boy 2 years ago today... Broc Christopher. Here are some pictures from the whole experience that I just love!!

Our good friend Melanie took all these at the funeral, she captured so many amazing shots! We will never be able to repay her!! THANKS again Melanie!!

The comfort we felt from our religion through this was amazing and still is today! Here is a scripture that I love, "And I also beheld that all children who die before they arrive at the years of accountability are saved in the celestial kingdom of heaven." D&C 137:10 We know he is up doing an amazing job in heaven and when we see him again, and he tells us what he has done, we will be so happy to know that Heavenly Father trusted us with his sweet spirit!

YEP.... Jeremiah!! You all think I drink a lot of Pepsi?!? I promise Jer drinks more!! It's a good thing we aren't married, cuz if we were, Pepsi would have to give us endorsements or something for the amount of Pepsi we would buy!!! But it's fun to visit with him and have someone that understands my LOVE!! Huh, Jer?! It was so fun to spend the weekend with him and his family, they got here on Thursday, just in time for the Suns game so we had a party over at our house to watch them Lose! :( And then on Friday, Brian and Jer went Golfing and Heidi and I went Scrapbooking! It was so fun! Then on Saturday morning before they headed home we took some family pictures, I have so many favorites.... You can see more of them on my Photography Blog! Happy Birthday Maci!

** WARNING** Lots of Pictures in this post! ;)

Well, she's 5! Can you believe it?!? Time goes so fast! (Have I said that before?) Yesterday was the day, and what a day she had!! She went to school in the morning where they sang Happy Birthday to her! She loved that!

Then we went down to Avondale to meet Daddy for lunch at Peter Piper's Pizza! She loves to go there!


Then it was off to Old Navy, Nonna (Brian's Mom) gave her a gift card or "credit card" as Maci calls them, to spend all by herself! She loved it, she knew exactly what she wanted... a dress with a sweater to go over it, then when we found the one, she wanted to try it on in the dressing room and then wouldn't take it off. She got to wear it right out of the store! And is already wearing it again this morning!
Plus she got to pay for it all by herself! She loved it! Thanks Lisa!

Then when Daddy got home from work she got to open all her presents from Mom and Dad, more stuff that's all she needed!! And then for Dinner she wanted to go to Red Robin and have Spaghetti, so that's where we went. She got to be sang to and got ice cream and a balloon! She had a very good day!

Party Day....

Well it's over! I think it all went really well! Both kids had a good time and they made away with a lot of really neat toys and tons of clothes! Mommy needs to go through and Goodwill stuff now!!

Cake Time!! Kernan LOVED his cake. I made him his own like 6in cake and all but like a 1in sliver was left! He ate the entire thing!! He shared a couple of bites with Kolsen. Grandpa, Daddy and Poppy all tried to get some but he wasn't wanting to share!

What a mess!! But a cute mess!

Tomorrow is my baby girls real birthday! I can't believe she's going to be 5! CRAZY!!

Look Who's One!!

Here is my little boy one year ago today!! It's amazing how fast time flies! I feel like I was just in the hospital and just had him, I feel like we just moved in our house.... NOPE! It's been one whole year!! Craziness!!




I took these pictures this afternoon, this is his birthday shirt! We aren't really doing anything special today, we are having both the kids parties on Saturday, so we're going to save all his presents for then! I can't believe my baby is 1!

Jessica's New Baby....

Here is my new baby! We bought ourselves a 2001 Yukon XL on Friday! I'm so loving it! I'm one of the girls that guys see my truck and think..."That's a nice truck... it's a CHICK driving it!" Yep, that's me now!! I had Maci stand in the picture so you could see just how big it is!

This was the first thing put back on when we brought it home!!!

Now we want your opinion.... We want to get a custom license plate for it and can't decide on which one we like the best, what do you think???

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your day! We went to my parents ward to watch my brother and sister sing in the choir! Jaxin and her friend did a duet, they sounded so good! I have really come to love this holiday and the reason why we celebrate it! Because of Jesus and his sacrifice for us our family will get to be reunited with Broc again! What a comfort that is too me, each and everyday! Enjoy your time today with your family! I'll post pictures from our egg hunt later!

Sheena and Cal

Brian's cousin Sheena and her little boy are in town for a couple weeks! Cal and Kernan are only 6 weeks apart, watching them play yesterday was so cute! Cal walks so he had the advantage over Kernan! I posted a bunch of the pictures I took on my Photography blog! Check them out!

Don't Call CPS on Us!

I know these pictures probably look like it's child abuse, but really our son would say that it's child abuse to not do this!! Let me explain: A couple of weeks ago, I was at cheer class with Maci and left Brian home with Kernan. Well I get a picture message on my phone.... I freaked out, that is why Mom's stay home with their kids and Dad's go to work! Here I am not home and my son is strapped to the lawn mower! Brian needed to get the lawn mowed and Kernan wasn't happy! In the past Brian has tried zipping him into the tramp, that only lasts like 5 seconds and he has been known to put him on his shoulders while mowing the lawn. Well, he was trying to hold him and mow when he passed the window and saw Kernan's chair at the table, next thing you know he is strapped to the lawn mower and LOVES it! I still was not to happy with the whole situation!
Well, a week later it was about 5 o'clock and Kernan had been asleep when Brian started mowing, next thing I know he is crying in his bed. So I went and got him out and took him outside to say "hi" to Daddy. When Brian walked by he started screaming, like Brian had scared him, so Brian kept walking and he calmed down. Then when he cam back to make another pass he started crying again. Brian said, " I think he wants to get on again!" So he went in and got his chair, strapped it on and put him in and off they went, Kernan was as happy as could be! He didn't fuss the entire time! Brian even turned it off at one point to move the tramp and he just sat and waited for him to start it back up!! What a boy!! A DADDY'S Boy!
