This week....

Once again it's been a busy week at our house! But it makes it go by fast! So what have we been up to?!? Where do I start?? My piano is put back together, and tuned! Just ready for me to go bang out some Christmas songs on it! :) Don't mind the legs, now that it's in the house we need to take them off use the hardware and put the new black ones on! But doesn't it look cool??

Here is the same piano before!! Doesn't it look so much better?!? A HUGE thanks to my Dad for all his help in this project, I wouldn't have done it without him! Thanks Dad! Love you!!!
OK... My new do... I love it even more now that my highlights have been redone! What do you all think?? It's different and that's what I wanted!!

Ok, this picture cracks me up so I had to share it!! Me and another Mom from Maci's class went in to talk to the kids about photography... So here are the kids watching my shutter close in my lens.. I didn't look through to see this, I just saw it when I uploaded it to my computer! Isn't it funny??

And here's my photogenic girl in her class!

And Christmas is in full swing at our house! Christmas music, decorations and the excitement of presents and Santa's visit are all over our house! Here is our tree...

This is my favorite part this year!! For my birthday last March my Mother in law gave me all the pieces to my Willow Tree Nativity that I didn't have! So for the past 9 months I've been so ready to put it up! I wanted it on my Piano... So today as soon as my piano was put back together, I wasted no time to put it up!! Thanks Lisa! Here are a few different angles of it!

My cute snowman lamp...

Our stockings are hung and waiting, Maci has asked the last 4 nights in a row if tomorrow is Christmas and if Todd is coming! We are all so excited for both Christmas and that Todd is coming to spend it with us! YA!!

Hope you guys all had a fantastic week! Now off to the weekend! Enjoy!

I love the Holidays!

What a wonderful weekend! I hope everyone had a great "Turkey" Day! I just love the holidays! It starts with Thanksgiving where you reflect on everything you have to be thankful for, and then on to Christmas where we can remember our sweet Savior and everything he has done for each of us!! Here are some pictures from our weekend... My family from UT always comes down so we have a jam packed few days! So much fun!!
Here is Kernan at Poppy and Nonna's house(Brian's parents) on Thursday, he has learned to climb and go down the slide, he was having so much fun!!
He always says "Ready GO" before he slides down!

Onto the other slide... Notice the cape was back?!?

GO!

So after Turkey Day we spend the next couple days SHOPPING! No, not 3 a.m., we're not that Crazy! (Joanna) We just go walk the Anthem Outlets and get our annual cousin Santa Picture...
We're missing a couple this year... It was funny though, the Santa remembered us from last year!! LOL
And then off to the Mall on Saturday... Our family is from Cedar City, Utah... Translation: Nowhere to shop!! Therefore they want to hit as many places as possible!!
Isn't this picture of Kolby and Kernan cute?!

The kids... Playing after church today...
Trevor, Austin and Stockton
Aubrianna, Jaxin and Maci
They have so much fun with each other when they get together!

Here are the "big boys"... Logan and Kolby, next year they both will be on missions! That's so weird to think!!

Super Kernan!!

This is Crysta! Isn't she adorable?! Next year hopefully she'll have her new hubby with her! Just waiting for the ring, he has it, just hasn't given it to her yet! Soon.. Hint Hint Matt!! :)

Isn't her hair adorable?? I thought so! I went and got it cut like hers!! I'll put a picture up as soon as I get my highlights done this week! Thanks for letting me copy you Crysta! :)

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, filled with Family and Friends! We missed you Matt, Rachel, Ethan and Noah and the Morgan's!
Now onto Christmas! Ya!!

My Piano Project...

My Dad, Brian and I have been refinishing my piano for the past couple months and last night we were working on it, giving things a second coat and Kernan wanted to paint like us... So Brian gave him a paint brush with a cup of water and piece of wood and he thought he was big stuff! Just like Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa!! I had to take pictures!
He is concentrating hard!

The work in progress... We hopefully will get it all sanded and finishing coat on it tonight, I'll be sure to take pictures when we're done!

Hard at work! Maci of course joined in as well!

Now we just hope we can get all the pieces to fit back into the puzzle! If they don't I guess the piano tuner can help us!!

What a difference...

You all remember this picture right?!? When I begged you NOT to call CPS on us!! Well this little baby has come a long way since then!! He now helps Daddy mow the lawn like this! What a difference! He thinks he is such a big boy, he can do whatever his Daddy does etc... We love it! He is so much fun!!
In other, non related, news. I got a package in the mail on Wednesday and am so in love with it!! I got this picture blown up into a 16x20 canvas!! This doesn't do it any justice! You have to see this in person to get the whole effect!! I walked right over to Natalie's to show her I was so excited!! I took the kids down to the green belt by our house just to snap some picture of them and Kernan wasn't in a photo shoot mood (which has to be a first for him!) So this is the best I got and I'm so glad it was! I love it!! I'll share some more pictures I took that day in a few...
Hope you all have a great Friday!!

What a Weekend!!

This weekend was a FUN one... for me! I had the pleasure of following Darby of Darby Elizabeth Photography here in Scottsdale, AZ. It was so great to meet her she is so down to earth and a great wedding photographer! So I was so excited to go see her in action and learn from her! The wedding was at the "Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain" in Paradise Valley. This resort is awesome! Britney Spears stays here all the time, we saw a guy who was on "The Apprentice", I can't remember his name. And we were told someone from Grey's Anatomy checked in on Saturday! Pretty neat place!! So I took 300+ pictures!! Here are a just a handful of them and if you'd like to see more... I have like 20 more on my Photography Blog...
Thanks again to Darby for the chance to see her work! And an even bigger thanks to
BRAD AND ANDREA
for letting me be a part of their special day!

If you want to see many more go to my photography blog. And PLEASE leave me a comment and let me know what you think!! Thanks! Hope you had a great weekend and have a good week!

Daddy's Buckaroo!

So all last week Kernan wore his cape! If you remember this, I made it for a gift I for Brian for Christmas last year. Kernan really hasn't had any interest in it until Monday. He had dragged it out into the family room on Sunday and Monday morning I was picking up the house and he came backing up to me to put it on him and he wore it for 3.5 days straight! While he ate, while he napped and it went back on before his diaper did after baths!! The only reason he isn't wearing it now is because I need to wash it!! It was so cute!
Here are some pictures of him wearing it...
He's crying because his Dad had let Maci go for a ride on the quad and he didn't think his turn was up! He loves that quad!!

Watching Daddy and Maci ride away...

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We had the Joncas's down for the weekend! It was fun! Shopping for us girls and golf for the boys! We love having them visit! Anytime guys!! Have a great week!

Halloween!

Where do I start?? I'm feeling better thank goodness! So because of that.. I took pictures!!!
This is Family Home Evening on Monday, carving pumpkins! Maci and Kernan loved it! I'm not much of a carver! So I snapped pictures.

This is from Maci's party at school, they were "storybook character" and Maci wouldn't wear her wig to her actual costume at school so she went as Cinderella!

OK, on to Halloween pictures. I took pictures of the kids before we headed to my parents house to trick or treat... There are SO many cute ones but I limited myself :)
Our Giraffe... what a cute giraffe he is too!

PEEK-A-BOO

Sharpay from High School Musical. I made this costume up myself, they don't sell one for her anywhere... So we went with it! It turned out ok I think...

We went and saw Kolsen before we headed out too. He is a piarate!

The boys, oh I mean, our Pirate and Giraffe

Stockton: Firefighter Jaxin: Angel Maci: Sharpay

OK, this was the best part of the night! Kernan LOVED trick or treating! He had it down by the time we were done! At first he'd walk right up to the door and go right in their houses! But after the first street he got that it wasn't OK to do that! But he loved it! He got mad when he thought the kids were leaving him! Fun fun!

Hope everyone else had a safe and Happy Halloween!
