We are SO excited...

for this week!! So much going on, it's either going to go fast or slow! We'll see!
First off here's whats happening this week that we're all excited for!

Tuesday- Wall-E comes out on DVD! Every time the commercial comes on Kernan jumps up and down yelling, "Wall-E Eve!"

I just can't get enough of this picture!! I'm getting it blown up for my house!! :)
Photobucket

Wednesday- Brian and I are headed up to Salt Lake to go to the Carrie Underwood Concert! That was my gift to him for our 7th wedding anniversary last month! I'm so excited for that!! :)

Friday- We're headed home!!! We're headed down to Arizona for Thanksgiving!! We're going to be there for the entire week! We are all so excited to see everyone, we love our life up here in Cedar City but there's nothing like going home and seeing friends and family! There is a really great thing waiting there for me too!!
For those that don't know we've sold both our cars (yes I sold my suburban! :( ) Brian got a new truck, he was tired of loading everything he needed for Window Tint in the trunk of the car.
Here is his truck...

And the deal was... If we sold my Suburban then I got to sell the car and get my DREAM car!! I have wanted a VW Golf since I was like 15!! Brian has been funny in the past and gotten me a little matchbox Golf that sits on my oven and looks at me all the time!! But I finally own one!! We've been looking for one for over a month and found one in San Diego... It just so happens that my family went there over the weekend to watch the UofU totally slaughter San Diego State!! GO U! Anywho, so they picked up my car for me!! And I can't wait to get down there!! If we weren't going to Carrie Underwood, I would have already left! ;)
Here is my beautiful car... I'm so happy I finally own my dream car!! And it didn't cost 1/2 a million dollars like most peoples dream car! I told Brian he should be thankful!!

Photobucket

So, I have some business to handle... Because we're going to be there the entire week, Brian will be bringing his Window Tint tools to tint anyone's car that wants it done!! So if you or someone you know wants their car tinted please give Brian a call!! I know he already has a couple people so call quick before he's booked up! I don't like to give our phone numbers over the internet so email us and I'll give it to you!
mandiles[at]mac[dot]com
Also, I'll of course have my camera with me! So if anyone want's Christmas card pictures done, I'm running a special of $75 for the shoot and it includes 50 custom cards and envelopes!! So please let us know!! Also check out my photo blog for a couple shoots I've done up here!!
To everyone in Arizona... We are so excited to see you!! Only 5 days! :)

My Kids are SO cute...

I know every parent says that... But it's true!! ;)
I just wanted to post a few funny things that they've done and said lately...

Maci~

Photobucket

Maci came home from school last Wednesday and told me that her teacher had told them that a student was leaving school on Friday because she is ill. I said, "Well that's too bad!" and Maci asked, "Mom, what does ill even mean?" And I said "Well it's just another word for saying that someone is sick." and her response...
"If she's sick, then why was she at school today?!?!"
haha! I love how their minds think! We found out that it was actually a teacher who has breast cancer that was leaving school, they all had to wear pink in honor of her last Friday.

Here's another funny one, this happened on Tuesday:
Mom: Hi, Sis! (she had just got home from school) What did you do at school today?
Maci: WE GOT TO VOTE!! (she was very excited!)
Mom: How cool, who did you vote for??
Maci: Barack Obama
Mom: What?! Why?!
Maci just looks at me with kinda a scared face...
Mom: You were supposed to vote for John McCain
Maci: Why?
Mom: Because that's who Mom and Dad want! Why did you vote for Barack?
Maci: Because he has the same name as my brother BROC! hahahaha!!!

Photobucket

Her little mind just never stops!! I love watching her learn and figure out different things in life!! She is such a joy to our family!

Kernan~

Photobucket

Our adorable little boy... He has started talking more and more (still not as much as some of our friends kids his age, but good enough for what he needs to get across!)

So one day last week, Maci was grounded to her room all week! (Long story...)
She had come out of her room for the millionth time asking another dumb question and I told her to go back to her room.
Kernan says, "Go Away!"
and as she walks down the hall to her room he says..
"See Ya!"
What a loving brother....

Then the other morning he was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Mickey needed a tool from "Tootles" so Mickey said call "tootles" for me, usually Kernan just watches sometimes getting involved in a show, but this time he jumped up and started saying "TOOTLES" over and over looking all around the front room, when it came flying over to Mickey on the TV Kernan yelled, "There it is!!" It was to cute!

Another cute story about him... You all know his LOVE for his little girlfriend Callie. Well I was worried he was going to loose that crush when we moved, SO WRONG!! Every time he gets a hold of a cell phone "ca-ca" is the person he is talking too! He brings her up in conversation all the time and most times out of the blue! One night a couple weeks ago, Natalie and I were on the computer talking over the web cam and Kolsen came into the picture, I yelled to Kernan, "Bubba, come here Kolsen is on the computer!" and he came running down the hall saying "CA-CA!" Poor Kolsen!! One more about Callie, Natalie has been putting videos up on her blog (thanks Nat! We love them!) of the kids and we have watched those 100's of times!!! He'll sit on my lap watch the movie and then say AGAIN over and over... When he loses interest I go onto another web page and if he comes back over and I'm off Callie's picture he says "Hey, Why you do that?!" Oh the love he has for that baby!!! :)
He keeps us laughing on a daily basis!! He is such a blessing in our family and I can't imagine our lives without him in it!!

Ok, thanks for letting me rave about my cute kids, I'm done for now.... :)

Family Photo Shoot

A couple weeks ago my Uncle drove up the mountain with us to take some pictures for me... I wanted some "fall" family photos. Unfortunately while we were in Vegas, Cedar had the first snow storm, so the trees up the mountain had already lost most their leaves... :(
So we ended up getting some by the "C". Here in Utah they have letters on the mountains of the towns, Hurricane has a "H", University of Utah has a "U" and so on... So we headed up to the "C". We had a great view of the city up there too!! Here are some of the pictures we got...

The few fall trees we found...
Photobucket

The lighting up by the "C" was amazing!!
And my daughter is a Photographers dream!! She is so dang photogenic!!
Photobucket

And so is he... when he wants to be!!
This was one of those days that he didn't want to be!!

We also found a patch of snow up there... The kids thought it was so cool!!

Thanks Matt for taking these!! They turned out cute, even if we had a difficult two year old to deal with!! :)
It's supposed to snow tomorrow!! It's raining as I type this, the weather has definitely cooled off this week! My Aunt said it was an unusually warm October for Cedar... I thanked Heavenly Father for that in my prayers!! ;)
But bring on the cold!! I'm excited for all the cute clothes and hats and scarves!! :) We'll see how long that lasts! haha!

Our Halloween Night...

We had SO much fun last night! I'm telling you my Grandparents street is the place to be on Halloween night in their town!! My kids loved it! And I might add... They looked SO cute!!
If you couldn't tell by my pictures yesterday, they were Wall-E and Eve from the Pixar movie Wall-E!! And can I just say they were the cutest Wall-E and Eve in the WORLD!!
We had to make both costumes, there is a Wall-E costume out there, but I wasn't willing to spend the 50 bucks on it!! And there was NO Eve-a out there! So we improvised and Brian and I are pretty proud of how they turned out!

Here is Maci getting ready to be "transformed"!!

Photobucket

I don't think Kernan had a clue as to the excitement that awaited him but he could tell something was up!!
Photobucket

Photobucket

First off... Eve.
She was so funny, as I started taking her picture she laughed and said " Mom, you can't tell if I'm smiling or not!!" Smart girl!
Photobucket

Photobucket
She got kinda sad though because people who didn't know or had never seen Wall-E thought she was a martian or an alien, that didn't make her to happy!! She said.. Girls aren't supposed to be aliens! haha! But it did pass by the most important critic and if he could tell who she was that was all that mattered! Kernan came into the bathroom once she was done, and looked at her and said... "Wall-E..." I knew he recognized her so we were set!! But I was surprised by the amount of people that did get it right!! Especially if they saw her with him...

Wall-E
The cutest robot on earth last night!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

If looks could kill... :D
Photobucket

I seriously could have taken hundreds of pictures of him last night!! He was so cute in his costume and the reaction that we got from everyone! Even little kids would come up to him and go look it's Wall-E!! It was definitely a big hit!!
This is the best picture I got of the two of them together! Pretty sad huh?!
Photobucket

Onto Trick-or-Treating...
After the 5th house Kernan had it down! He'd say, "trick-0r-treat" and "thank you"! It was the cutest thing!

Photobucket

Checking his loot!

Photobucket

This is a cute picture I caught of the two of them... To bad they weren't looking!
Photobucket

The whole group, my cousin Lori and her husband and 2 year old came trick-or-treating with us! It was so fun!!! Chase was much more into taking in all the scenery then actual candy!! And it was the cutest, he said trick-or-treat before they would even answer the door! :)
Photobucket

The three of them after we had walked the street...
Photobucket

This picture is funny! Kernan hadn't even had that much candy!! I swear!!
And Maci looks like she needs a nap! :)
Photobucket

I have to show you Maci's trick-or-treat bag too... I made it out of a shirt I got on clearance at Wal-Mart, vinyl, and a canvas bag! I'm pretty proud of it too! :)
Photobucket

We had such a good time! After we were done we helped my Grandma pass out candy! We figured she had well over 600+ kids come!! They were still ringing her door bell at 9:30pm even with a note on the door that said "ALL OUT"! Crazy!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting us come crash your house!! We sure had fun!!
Hope everyone else had a good night as well!! :)
