Oregon... My Home Sweet Home!

You all thought that I was done with my boring blogs.... Little did you know, I just got back from Oregon last night and I have more pictures to share!! For those of you who didn't know, we moved to Arizona almost 9 years ago from Oregon! That is my HOME! I was telling my Mom as we drove into Medford on Thursday, when I make that drive into town... I feel home. I know we've lived in Arizona for awhile and so it should feel like home but it just doesn't! Oregon is where I grew up and I have so many GREAT memories there!! I miss Oregon, seeing all the people we got to see and the beautiful trees and just all over green-ness.... Makes me VERY home sick!!

Anyway, back to the trip... One of my bestest friends I had when I lived there got married in the Medford Oregon Temple, and I just had to be there for it!!

We stayed in the Super 8 motel there in Central Point because of it's BIG yellow water slide! But we were so busy going from here to there that the kids only got to go in it twice the whole 4 days we were there!! But they got to swim in other pools of our friends so they were happy!! It was just my Mom and I and our 4 kids, the guys couldn't take more time off work since they had just gotten back from Idaho. So we braved it all by ourselves! It was so fun!! We saw so many people that we hadn't seen in so long... Obviously!! :) The kids would ask where we were going or who's house we were going to next, and we'd tell them "We are going down memory lane, nothing of it is going to mean anything to you but you'll just have to go along!" They did really good though! Every house we stopped at they had so much fun that they didn't want to leave!! Sorry this post is so long, I just thought I'd do a couple LONG posts and get it over with!!

This is Bear Creek Park, the BEST park ever!! I didn't get any pictures of the kids playing on it because one of my Mom's friends met us there so we were talking but this is the BEST park! My Mom and Dad helped build it when we lived there.

This is our house in Central Point, this picture was taken 2 years ago when Brian and I went back for my other friend Laura's wedding in January of '05 that is why it's overcast and the trees are dead. But that's ok the picture my Mom took of it on Friday the tree's are so big you can't even see the house you only see the garage!! So this one you can at least see the house!!

This is a picture of the messy boy on my messy bed! The kids decided on Saturday morning to all get on my bed and eat breakfast!! So I had crumbs of all of it on my bed! It was really gross! Thank heavens for House Keeping!!

This is Rylee's cabinet, Rylee died the summer after we moved, she drowned in their backyard pond. She is Todd's sister (from one of my last posts). For those of you who have seen my Broc cabinet, now you know where I got that wonderful idea from! This cabinet means so much to me and to her Mom Marcie that I just had to have one for Broc!!
These are pictures of her garden in their backyard of the house they live in now. This statue was given to them after she died.

This is a picture of one of my friends from elementary school. Her name is Breanna and we were best friends through out 4th and 5th grade! We were in Girl Scouts together. This is us now, with our kids!! It was so good to see you Breanna! Come down and visit!! :)

This is Shasta Lake, the houseboat there in the middle of the picture is our friends, we would go down every summer for a week and stay on it!! Great memories in that houseboat and on that lake!!

A big plus was being able to be the follow around photographer!! That was so much fun!! But more of that tomorrow... OK a little sneak peak....
