Maci had a field trip today to the Wildlife World Zoo! I couldn't chaperon and take Kernan (he would be a liability) so we just happened to be there at the same time! :) It was Kernan's first time to the Zoo, he is at such a fun age!
I'm not sure what Maci was more excited for... The Zoo... or the fact that she got to ride on a BUS!! She has never ridden a bus and was so excited to do so!
Here she is getting off, I think the smile says it all!!
We rode the carousel... Kernan was so excited!!
I love the expression on his face, he rode on a monkey, his favorite animal right now!
And of course Maci rode a giraffe! Love those!!!
Kernan LOVED walking around and being like the big kids! He would run right behind them and look over the logs just like them! It was so cute!!

The last time Maci had her picture taken in front of the flamingos, we were at the zoo for her 4th birthday! And since her 6th birthday is in exactly one week, I thought it would be cute to take one of her holding up 6 fingers!!
My favorite! The Giraffe's!! I love these animals!

This one was trying to eat the food right out of the container! haha
And the deer were so excited for Brian to have food they were eating his shirt to get his attention!!
He was ok by the tame one...
But where he really wanted to be was on the train ride!!

I can't believe my baby is going to be TWO tomorrow!! :(

I guess his shirt says it all. He must have had a wonderful time on his first "big" trip to DC., but I do think the zoo is high on his priority list of fun places to go!
