Where does the time go?!
First of all, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that commented on my last post about our Sweet Broc! He is such a blessing in our lives and your comments really mean a lot! Whenever I'm having one of "those"days, I'm going to go to that post and read your comments and it'll give me a good boost! So Thank You again!!
Next, we've had a busy couple of weeks! Just busy with life! I don't really have many pictures to explain what we've been up to... Just busy!
I do have some pictures of a not so wonderful thing!!
First the story to lead into them...
Yesterday as I was going to do Maci's hair for school I noticed that she had some short hairs right up front that were a little to perfectly straight to be "wispies"! I asked her if she cut her hair and she just looked at me and slowly shook her head up and down!!! I have not had the best of weeks this week so this just added to it! I calmly told her to go to her room!!! Called Brian and he said... "Put her on the phone!!" so they had a nice talk and we decided she would be grounded from playing outside. We also found out she did it because Jeremy (a kid in her class) cut his first!! They had a sub on Wednesday, amazing what they do without their normal teacher!!! So I took her to school, I needed the break from her for sure!! I got in the car after dropping her off and called my Mom to tell her that she was lucky her Granddaughter didn't have serious injuries!! I mean come on she is 6 not 2!! Anyway, she suggested that her punishment should be to cut her hair off! I mean keeping her in the house is more punishment to us for sure!! Plus, Maci wants her hair to be down to her butt, so cutting it off would get the point across! So after school I took her to Heather and got her hair cut to her shoulders! She was so upset! I told her that is what she got... If she wanted to cut her hair, we'd cut it!!! Don't worry I took pictures!! ;) The first ones of the "before" shots look more like mug shots, but good! This wasn't supposed to be a happy thing!!
Do you see the damage right there in the front... I still can't believe she did that!
This is how long it was, pretty close to where she's wanted it!!!
And her is the after picture when we got home! I asked for a smile for this one! Although while she was getting her hair cut I kept asking if she was happy with how short it was getting and she said "No"! Good, I think we made our point! I told her if she ever cut her hair again, I'd shave it bald!!
Here it is this morning... See how short we went!! I wasn't kidding!!
Here she is before school today! Don't tell her but I think it's cute and something different! Plus it looks so much healthier!! We just have to clip the front down until it grows out enough to lay flat!
Alright that's it for now, sorry for the novel! Check out the other post I did this morning right below this, and I promise I'll post more soon!! Happy Friday!!

I told her that I was sad that she had to get her hair cut (the whole while I am smiling cause it looks so way cute!) cause I won't be able to braid it anymore for awhile, oh what will I do!?
I love it. It looks adorable. Bummer that she cut her hair, but look at the new do. Fashionista!!!!!
Hahaha, little kids. Now she looks so grown up, I love it.
Don't tell her this but I actually think it looks much healthier! She's cute no matter what length her hair is. When you mean business, you mean business!
hilarious! I am all for the punishment fitting the crime. ;) It does look way healthier. Now if she wants to grow it out.. it'll be all one length and thicker. Just don't let on that it's adorable. ;)
