It's beginning to feel like Christmas!!

After last weekend it really started to set in that Christmas is so soon!! We went to the parade on Saturday, it was so cute!! And so nice and warm!! I over heard my Uncle's friend saying that last year when they watched this parade it was like 10 degrees out and they were all freezing! Not this year, we all were in pants and long sleeve shirts! Not even in sweatshirts or anything!!

Here it comes!! After the American flag of course! I love how they start every parade with the military men carrying the flag down Main St...

The "HULK" was the parade marshal!!

The kids were all into the parade!! They kept creeping into the street further and further... They were waving to the charters on the floats..

And giving the ones that were walking the streets "high fives"!

Elmo was a BIG highlight!!

And finally the man of the hour.... Santa!!

I absolutely LOVE this picture!!

It totally looks like it's just Santa and Kernan and that Santa is waving just to him!! SO CUTE!!

Kernan hitched a ride back to the car with his buddie Chase.

Then we were off to get our Christmas tree...
No we didn't get an Aspen tree but they were all around us! Isn't this pretty?! I actually forgot my camera, I left it in my car and we took the truck up there, so I got these from my cousin Lori's blog!

Chase was throwing snow balls at everyone!! For being a California boy he sure caught onto the whole snow thing!!

Kernan wasn't expecting it and the snow ended up down his shirt!! haha!!

Here are all of our trucks loaded up with our trees!!

We got a little one for our little rental... I think it's so cute!! Except all our ornaments didn't fit so we had to be selective! :)

Then on Monday we had our first snow!! We were all so excited! And I'm just glad it waited this long to come!! :) This is the view out our front door when it was coming down...

Our poor puppy is wondering what we've done to him! This is defiantly not what he's been put up in for the past 5 years!!

The view out our door again, this is the Presbyterian church across the street...

And this is our cute little rental Tuesday morning...

It's pretty much all melted away already, but there is supposed to be more on Sunday!! Just in time for my family to get here!! :) Hope it's starting to feel like Christmas at all of your houses as well!! :) I'm off to finish my Christmas cards!

This is your Mother being sarcastic.... "I can hardly wait for the snow" but then you probably already know that right?! Huh Brian? :)
I had that cute picture of Kernan and Santa "having their private moment" as my wallpaper on my lap top, until Kolby came along and changed it to he and Logan! What's up with that?
See you in 3 days!

It looks dang cold!! That parade looked like more fun than insane, barricaded, handicapped driving, phoenix. I love the Santa picture, and the "Aspen" trees.

For not being a "cold winter girl" you sure are embracing the snow!! I'm so proud of you! LOL. Isn't it nice to have the seasons change and not be stuck in the same ole dry, brown, boring, heat... :) Your town looks so cool!!!
