Monster Trucks, Mothers Day and Moving...

That is a whole lotta M's! :P
So we've been a bit busy at our house! This past weekend was fun! I'll just jump right into it!

Monster Trucks

We went to the Washington Fairgrounds on Saturday night with my cousin Lori and her family, to watch the Monster Truck rally, we had a good time! We did leave early though, Kernan hadn't had a nap and was so whiny... And two of the four Monster Trucks broke down in the second round! So we were a little bummed but it was fun for awhile...

Here are our two boys... They took their Dad's down to the pit to see the trucks up close...

I liked this shot! Good job Handsome! :)

So we took our little point and shoot inside to take pictures instead of my big expensive camera. Well Kernan wanted to take pictures with it! He was getting some interesting shots!

I snagged this from my cousins blog... Isn't it SO cute!?
I wonder where he gets his love for taking pictures from?! hehe! ;)

Before the Monster Trucks did their show, they had a couple freestyle motorcyclists. They were ok, they would have been better if they had done the back flip that the announcer guy was telling us about. If he hadn't gotten us all hyped up for that, we would have thought they were awesome! But they didn't do any flips...

Maci took her turn at the camera too...

Mother's Day

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day! I know I did! It was nice and relaxing! My hubby got me tickets to Tuacahn here in St. George to see Annie this summer!! Maci and I are going... We're very excited!
My Mother's Day started early though, Maci had Mother's Day Party at her class where they sang us songs gave us a little note that they wrote us and then served us treats... It was adorable! Every Mom of every kid was there! I thought that was awesome! They were so cute, every Mom that walked in the door they kids would go... "Maci's Mom is here" or whoever's Mom walked in!
Here is the cute girl all ready to sing for me...

Her class... They did such a good job! The last few songs were songs they had learned were about Mom's. Mrs. Dunaway must have told them that if they sang them good their Mom's would cry because when they realized which songs were next they all went, "Oh ya, the tearjerkers!" haha!

They used kazoos in a couple of their songs... They were so good and together! I was very impressed! :)

Maci's paper she wrote about me was cute! It said:
"My Mom is an Angel on Earth because: My mom is the best cook in the world and the best mom in the world she lets me go and ride my bike down the hill after school. She lets me play with Andalin. She lets me choose what I want for dinner when it's my birthday"
They had to color the angel to look like their Mom too. It was cute how much the kids paid attention! Mine, my Aunt Rachel's and a few other Mom's had highlights in their hair! All the toes were painted, mine were light pink with a black french manicure, so me!! I love it!

Thanks for my Mother's Day Handsome!! I'm so blessed to be a Mom to my kids!!

Moving

Yep, that's right we're moving! We are headed south! We're moving down to Hurricane, it's warmer down there! :) We've found this cute house, it has a yard! We are all so excited about the grass, the dogs too! It's a 4 bedroom house, so we have a guest room... So come visit!! :)

Here's a map to show where we're moving... A is Cedar City and B is Hurricane...

Here is a picture of the outside of it... We've been slowly moving down there for a few weeks and will be down there forever this Saturday!! We are so excited, we've already gone to a ward dinner. Everyone is so nice! The people next door have a little girl that's Maci's age! When we were down there on Saturday we didn't see her the entire time! They had lots of fun playing together! Plus I'm like 3 minutes away from my Grandparents! If I can't be close to my Mom, then my Grandma is the next best thing!! :) Plus my cousin Lori and her family are about the same distance away!! Yay! I'm so excited!!
Photobucket

The house was built in the 1920's! It's been all updated, but we're finding some interesting things with an old house! It's fun though!

It has a huge garden area in the backyard... Brian and I are not sure what to do with it! Neither one of us know anything about gardening!! In fact, Saturday Brian was going to take the lawn mower to all the weeds in it... A few of the weeds are in perfect rows... So he thought, you know these are a little to perfect. So he pulled one, it was a carrot!! We have 3 rows of carrots! And then about 5 minutes later, Maci walked in with a head of cabbage!
Photobucket

Here's our carrots. We're gardener's and we didn't even now it!! haha! We're not sure how there are things growing back there, the house has been vacanct for awhile! So if anyone knows anything about gardening... Come teach us! We don't know what were going to do with all of the space! I guess we'll give it a try, if we fail... We'll fill it and put a swing set back there or something! haha!
Photobucket

Here's a picture of the backyard. We have a wooden swing on our front porch as well as this one in the back... And we think that's grapevines going up and over the swing!
Photobucket

So that's what we've been up to!! If I'm not around for awhile just know I'm busy getting settled! Plus we're headed to AZ in a week for the Taylor Swift concert!! And we get to meet Cole!! :D

And a really quick shout out to my Mom and Brother!! Happy Birthday you two!! We love you!!

What a cute new house for you! That'll be fun being close to your grandma. I didn't know you were in Cedar. We try to visit Chris' mom there during the summers. Good luck on your move!

HOLY BLOG!! I'm going to have to look back at it to type. 1st - T loved the pictures of Kernan with the Monster Truck. The b&w ones were super cool. 2nd- I love how her teacher does Birthday's and Mother's Day. I don't think I know any other kids that did all that for their Mom's, maybe it's a Utah thing. 3rd - I love the house, it looks so cute. You should talk to Andrea about gardening when you come down, she may now some good details. 4th - Were excited to see you guys, you'll eat Cole alive.
