Taylor Swift...

was, AmaZiNG!
We went to her concert in Phx on May 21st... I know, I'm way behind! But good news, we finally have the internet at our house!! No more library parking lot or bugging my Grandparents! ;) I'm once again connected to the world!!

Ok, back to Taylor... Maci was so excited about going to see Taylor! The entire drive down to AZ she kept talking about it. She didn't understand that we weren't meeting her. I had to explain that we'd only be in the same building as her but wouldn't have the luck of actually meeting her. She kept saying, I'm excited for 3 things Mom, 1. The Taylor Concert 2. Meeting Cole and
3. Jaxin doesn't have to get out of our car before we leave to go home... She gets to come with us!

This was Jaxin and Maci's first concert and they were SO excited!! They even made a poster...

Outside the arena before the concert Tim and Willy from KMLE were out signing autographs and meeting their fans. So the girls had them sign their shirts! That's one of my favorite things about going home to AZ! The KMLE! I get so excited right outside Wickenburg when I can turn on the radio and hear it! Then I text my Mom and tell her I can hear the KMLE and she knows I'm close!! We really need better radio stations up here!!
Here's Willy about to sign Maci's forehead! ;)

Here's Tim.. He's so tall!! On his knees and he's still taller then them!!

And here she is!! She and her entire band and dancers came out in band costumes for their opening song "You Belong With Me"

About midway through the concert she went back stage to change her clothes... She had quite a few wardrobe changes! But this particular one, she came back out in the middle of the crowd!! We were 3 rows up from the bottom on the second level and she was basically directly below us!! I've never seen that done before! And Mom and I have been to quite a few concerts!! :D So my next thought was... OK, so they were able to sneak her down there but how were they going to get her back to the stage?! She totally walked through the fans!! She was hugging them and shaking their hands, posing for quick photos! Never seen that either! She's brave!! And we were TotALlY jealous!! :)
Photobucket

She walked from the middle of the first level out to the middle of the floor and sang a few songs on a rotating stage thing in the middle of the arena! I thought that was so cool because instead of always being up in front of everyone she was right down in the middle of everyone! Awesome touch!

Here's a video of her singing "Fifteen" from the middle stage....

And here's another video of her singing "Tim McGraw" she asked for everyone's help with their flashing lights or cell phones so a couple of times I zoomed out so you could see them. It is such a cool sight!! And then she walked from the middle all the way up to the stage, and again was hugging fans! It's a long video but we like it! At the very end she is so cute, she is just standing there listening to us all scream for her... She just takes it all in and you can tell she honestly can't believe she's standing on a stage singing to a sold out arena! She's such a neat girl!

Here she is singing "Love Story"
Disclaimer: At the beginning of this video you can totally hear me singing (if that's what you want to call it) I had been screaming and singing for 2 hours already so my voice was hurting, plus, I don't even remember signing! It was total instinct! So I sound terrible but she looks cute and her stage is awesome! :D I'm probably going to regret making a total fool of myself on the world wide web!! haha! Oh well!

And her final performance was "Should Have Said No" this was the ONE Maci had been waiting for!! She was bummed when she headed in and hadn't sung it! But no fear, they always come back out for an "encore" performance! When she started singing it, Maci goes "Yes, it's going to rain" because in an award show when she sang this song she had rain with words going down the rain... Totally awesome! But we told Maci that we didn't think it was going to rain, there just was no way on that stage they could pull it off. That poor kids face went from the biggest smile to almost in tears!! She had been waiting for it the entire concert! Well by Maci's request it did indeed rain! And Maci was SO happy about that! It really was awesome!!

And that marked the end of the concert! She was on the stage for 2.5 close to 3 hours!! And it was such an entertaining show!
Here's a quick video of the girls reaction to the concert...

She put on an amazing performance! My Mom and I were talking on the way home about how it's amazing how every concert is different! Like I said before, Mom and I have been to quite a few concerts... and don't plan on stopping! :D hehe! But they are all SO good and SO different. Kenny is awesome, and cute!! Brad Paisley is hilarious!! Carrie Underwood is just amazing LIVE!! Taylor was entertaining and very creative!! My Mom read an article that she had that entire concert planned since she was 14! Amazing and perfect for younger girls! She was very appropriate and even left out the curse word in her song! If you have a chance go see it for yourself! We'll be going to her concerts again for sure!!
Thank You so much Mom for this!! It sure made a great memory for all of us, one that I'm sure we'll never forget!! We Love You!

Hi, I know you don't know me but I'm such a huge Taylor Swift fan...I have been since before the song "Tim McGraw" was released to radios and I accidently stumbled across this and loved your review and the pictures are amazing. So are the videos. I'm going to see the Fearless tour in NYC and I'm so excited...words cannot describe how excited I am for this. Anyway, Taylor is such an amazing influnce on young girls and she changed my life for the better when I was fifteen and heard her music for the first time. Haha, and your mom is right, Taylor drew this stage out in her math notebook or something when she was like 12 and or 13. She's such an amazing lyricist and I just absolutley love her. And everyone is like "Oh, Taylor Swift can't sing at all live...she's just all digital on the CDs to make her soung good." but I think different, from the concerts I've been to she's BETTER live than on the CD. Her energy is so amazing. And it radiats through the room. Ummm...I'm rambling. MY only "fearless tour" complaint is that she's leaving out great songs from album number one that will be forgotten like tears in the rain...songs like "Mary's Song" and "Cold As You" and "The Outside" will never be heard to the people who haven't listened to the first album becuase it's more country sounding than her new one....anyway...I'll stop here, great review, amazing pictures! -Ally.
