What a great Weekend!

We're home from AZ and unpacked, for now, we'll have to get packed all up again next Tuesday to head to Provo to drop off my brother at the MTC (missionary training center) and then we're headed to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole!
We had such a great trip in AZ! Filled with tons of family, fun, and the spirit! It was awesome!

Jaxin's Birthday was Friday... I can't believe she's only a year away from Young Women's in church!! That's just crazy! You can see pictures from her photo shoot in the post just below this!! She wanted to go to Peter Piper Pizza for dinner and play! Here are some cute pictures of Trevor and Kernan that Chris snapped with my camera while I was loving on Cole at Peter Piper that night! :D

They were "whacin' a mole"!

I love Kernan's face! He's so cute!

Then they went and drove the race cars... Trevor is getting into it! His Dad would be proud! ;)

These were all we got the whole night! We were to busy playing with the kids! It was fun, and they all had a blast!!

Saturday was spent hanging out with family! It was so awesome all the people that made the trip to come and support my family and my Brother! Some I hadn't seen in awhile so it was fun to catch up and hang out!

Sunday
June 28th will always be a special day in our family!
I can't even put into words how awesome Sunday was! Sometimes church can start to feel like the same old same old.. Does that make sense? Every now and then everybody needs something to give their spirit a little "boost"! And this past Sunday was exactly what my spirit, as well as Brian's, needed!
First was my Brother's "farewell" talk at church. He did an amazing job and will make an amazing missionary! The people of Spokane Washington are a lucky group to be getting such a wonderful missionary! I only cried once during his talk! I probably won't report the same after we take him to the MTC on the 8th that's going to be a hard day! I know he's doing the right thing and I couldn't be any more proud of him!
These are some pictures we snapped after church, we didn't take to many because it was HOT!!

This is my Grandma and Grandpa Hunt... My Mom's parents that we are lucky enough to only live like a mile from!!

Kolby with Grandpa and Gram Peterson...

Everyone that came to support Kolby! It was so awesome to have everyone there!

And here is our family... I'm so thankful for every single one of them and thank Heavenly Father everyday that I'm a part of this family!
I love you all!!

After Kolby's farewell and dinner we headed back to the church for an event Brian and I have been praying and hoping for! Christtina has been going back to church on and off for about 4 years. She was really close to getting baptized about 3 years ago but just didn't feel ready. Well after a lot of patience and faith she started going to church again with Trevor and now with Cole and made the decision to get re baptized! I admire her more then I can express! She is such an example to so many but mostly to me!! I don't know that I would have the strength to go to church with my two young kids without any help or support from my husband. She amazes me everyday! It's been a rough road for her, but Sunday night was the ultimate pay off!

Brian got to take his little Sister into the baptismal font and baptize her! He was able to wash away all her sins and give her a clean start! I was so proud of him! I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband that honors his priesthood! He was so honored to be able to baptize Christtina! He was nervous, Chris was talking about all the people that were going to be there and how she never would have guessed that many people would want to come. Brian told her "Can we draw the line somewhere? I'm getting nervous!" But he did awesome and she was right, there were a ton of people there! It was so awesome to see all the LOVE and SUPPORT that surrounds Christtina! I know she felt that! I was also thankful to my family for coming and supporting her! My parents, siblings, grandparents and Aunt and Uncles all wanted to be there for her! We all feel like she is just one of us, and that means so much to me! I'm so thankful for the relationship Christtina and I have!
Here is a pictures of Brian and Chris before the baptism, they were in their white "jump suits" practicing in the hall...
It's a total black mail shot! This was their "I'm not going to cry so I'll cheese it up" pose! I love these two!!

And a more relaxed shot afterwards when the nerves had settled!

After Christtina was baptized, Cole was blessed! Phil's Dad did an amazing job and gave that baby a beautiful blessing! He is such a lucky boy to have all the love that he has in his life! And we are all blessed to have his special spirit in our lives! He is such a good baby!

Here is the cute family afterwards... I love you guys!

So again, it was a great trip!! One we will never forget in our family! I'm so proud of Kolby and Christtina and thankful for their examples in my life!!
I love you both!!

I agree it was a great weekend! Kolby being able to speak on baptism at Christtina's baptism was just such a great way to end our weekend. That is what missionary work is all about!

So much to say: first of all, it was nice to see you again. I'm glad I could help out just a little bit. Kolby did a great job and I teared up when he talked about Broc too! So sweet that he still gets emotional about that. OK seriously, has your mom lost a ton of weight because she looks fantastic?! This is the first sunday I've really noticed--what has she been doing ? Really really fab. Enjoy the next couple of busy weeks!

What a special weekend it was. Money can not buy the special feelings we had . To Kolby so proud of you, Love you. To Christtina, you are so fun to be around. What does the saying say ? It will not be easy but it will be worth it, I know that to be true. Proud of you, the "other Grandma"

You made me all teary. Thanks for the example you guys have shown me through the years, and for giving me one of the biggest reasons to go back. I agree, Kolby did great. Thanks Bub, I love you! I think I might still be the cleanest person you know. ;)
