This Fourth of July was a lot of fun! My family came up on Friday so we were all together! They are up here because we're on our way to Provo to take Kolby to the MTC! I can't believe it's already time to say good bye to him! That went way to fast!! Anyway, we headed up to Cedar City to watch their parade. I love small towns! Maybe next year we'll check out Hurricane's parade! :)
Kernan's shirt won the "Cutest Fourth of July Shirt" contest!
And she won for the cutest girl at the parade contest! hehe!
Everyone is waiting for the parade to start... They're all ready with their bags to catch some candy! :)
Kernan LOVES his "girl"!!
Patiently waiting still...
It started!! This tank was cool! I think my favorite though was when a float came by with a bunch of veterans on it and everyone stood and clapped and cheered for them! It made me get goosebumps!
One float gave away otter pops with their business cards on it!! Great advertisement and the kids enjoyed them!!
Checking out the boat!
Maci, taking it all in! :)
After the parade we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house and hung out for awhile...
Kernan ran to Wal Mart with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Kolby... He came back with a "CARS" toy!! I told him he was spoiled and he said "No" and I said Yes you are and he said "No me not!" But honestly... YES HE IS!! He is going to miss his "Bobe"!!
Michayla and I did the matching thing again! It was so fun! We were a bigger version of Maci and Jaxin, they also matched each other! :)
Aren't we cute!?
Then we went back down to Hurricane and went and saw, Ice Age 3! Really cute!
Then we hung out at our house, had a BBQ, and set off fireworks!
Michayla was giving Chase a push on the swing...
Kernan and Grandpa were having a good time with this toy! I took several funny pictures of that... It'll be in another post soon! It was so funny!
The girls set up the slip in slide for the kids and filled water balloons up...
One thing I love about any holiday where a flag should be up in our town (and many others through out Utah) the boy scouts come and put up flags in front of everyone's houses. And then they take them down once the day is over! It's one of my favorite things!
Here's our flag outside our house...
My cousin Kelli works at Costco in the bakery area... She packages and wraps the baked yumminess. And also has picked up learning how to decorate cakes! She made this one for Kolby... It was so yummy and adorable!! Awesome job Kelli!!
Then it was onto the sparklers and fireworks!! I was nervous this year for Kernan to play with sparklers, since last year he burnt himself! But he did good!! He was super into it!
Although by his expression in this picture you wouldn't know it!
Pretty girl!
I love this picture! Kolby jumped in to make it goofy but instead, I think it's adorable!!
See I told ya he loved them! :D
Michayla looking adorable as always!!
My Dad being Patriotic... He was even whistling the Star Spangled Banner!
Fireworks!! One of the fun things about moving away from AZ... We can actually set off fireworks!!
The kids love it.. And the bigger "kids" love it too!! Brian, Kolby and Jeff were putting on a great show for all of us!
The kids lined up sparklers along the sidewalk...
And our "grand finale" ...
After we cleaned ours up the big ones started... They set them off further north on 200 west (we live on 200 west) and so we all just stood out in the street and watched them go off! It was perfect! We all had a great day!! Hope yours was good as well!!

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! We have to come visit and see your cute house and town!
You guys look like you really had a fun time. It is more fun to have these kind of holidays when you live in a small town. I missed being home for this one, but had a super time being here.
It was a fun day! I was tired and Chase didn't even make it off your street before he fell asleep! P.S. We have some of the same pictures but yours are better, Of course!
You all looked adorable. I miss those small town Fourths...
That's the kind we had as kids.
July Fourth was always my favorite because everyone in town made it like one big party all day long...
Love seeing all your pictures!
T said, "Trevor excited to see fireworks, and Aunt Michayla!!" I pretty much loved all the pix. Especially, Jaxin and Kernan, Maci's, and your dad whistling while sparkling. Yours was more exciting, but ours was probably more relaxing. See you soon!! We should do a Cole update tiny shoot.
