Let me just start by saying... I LOVE MY HUSBAND! And I'm thankful he'll be home from work tonight to sleep next to me! I love you Handsome!
On Wednesday, Brooke wrote on Facebook about a girl who's husband had died earlier that day. When I read that I just thought, WOW, I can't imagine loosing my husband! That is SO sad! And then, I saw on Heidi's blog yesterday, a post she did on the same family, and again I felt so bad for her and her 2 1/2 year old little boy. I honestly just can't imagine!
Well today, I decided to click on her blog and read about their story. And with that it brought me to the entry she wrote just yesterday! The day after her husband passed away... Oh my goodness! I was crying! What a sad and amazing entry! She is an amazing lady! With strength I don't think she even realizes she has! You really need to read it! AmAziNg!
Her husband Kameron was diagnosed with Lupus in Nov 2007 and has been fighting it ever since, obviously I don't know much about them but you can read their story on her blog! Enjoy Everyday Moments She's written about all the trials and ups and downs basically from the beginning... Another reason I love blogging! She'll have it to look back on and for Kason her son to read later in his life! My heart aches for her, I don't know her at all but I still just ache for her and her son!
It has made me thank my Heavenly Father today over and over for my Husband! He is my BEST FRIEND!
and dang good looking if I do say so myself!! :)
There are always those "little things" that always bother me, you know you all have them! But today I've just thought, who cares!? At least he's still here with me physically (not spiritually) to talk to me, to help me raise our kids, to share in their lives and to just LOVE me and the kids! I'm grateful for EVERYTHING he has done for me and our kids!
**He goes to work everyday to provide all the things we have, he's made a business that we started, almost a year ago, work even in this crazy economy we live in!
**He stood by me when we were just teenagers and found out we were pregnant and has never left my side, I know a lot of other teenage boys ran when that was placed in their lap. But not mine, he was there for me, even married me. ;)
**He took Maci and I to the Temple a year later to be sealed to him and our children to come for ETERNITY!
**He keeps his promises that we made that day in the Temple.
**He is a worthy Priesthood holder, something I take for granted I'm sure!
**He stood by me and supported me during the biggest trail we've had to face yet, the death of our sweet baby, Broc. I couldn't imagine going through that with any other man in this world! He was so amazing during that whole situation!
**He deals with me and all my crazy flaws!
**He stands up for me in ways other husbands might not, that has meant the WORLD to me the past couple months!
**He loves me for ME! That's all anyone can want!
There are many more things that make me LOVE him, but I'll stop boring you all! :)
I just wanted to take this opportunity to publicly let Brian know how much I love him and am thankful for him in my life here on Earth and the life we already have waiting for us in Eternity! And I know that I will be hugging him, snugging him, and kissing him even more tonight!! I hope I will remember this always, and it won't just be a "phase"! I have the best BEST FRIEND in the world!
I LOVE YOU HANDSOME!!
If you'd like to help the Haban Family out in any way please do! You can find out all the different ways you can help here: http://www.habanfundraiser.blogspot.com/
And please, hug your spouse and kids a little tighter tonight, life is short, and who knows what might happen! Although I PRAY I don't have to endure the same heartache Jami is having to endure right now!
My prayers are with her and their entire family.

You put your feelings down beautifully honey, very well said! When I read that blog entry yesterday I thought the same exact things and had alot of the same feelings. It was very appropriate that Dad and I had just returned from the temple yesterday were we had been asked to do sealings, it really made me reflect on many things! I hope and pray that I never have to find out if I could be as strong as this young lady, she is truely amazing!
I am also VeRy thankful for your husband, and think that he is a great guy! From day one he has followed through on all of the commitments he made to Dad and I and to you. He has made me realize that even with as hard as things were at first, because of those commitments we have been blessed. So, Brian I love you too and thank you for being such a good husband for Jessica! You are fun to be around, most of the time ;) except for maybe when you are giving me a hard time about...... just about everything! Lol Thanks for being a great son-in-law, I couldn't have asked for anyone better!
And Jessica, I can say "I told you so" when I came home and told you there was the cutest blonde haired blue eyed deacon in the ward we were going to move into in AZ!! Was I right?!
mOM
Great post! I think you and I are gonna be great friends!! We have so much in common that you don't even know yet! I'm so glad that you were brought into my life!! I can't wait for our lunch date! :D
Thank for posting about Jami and her family. My heart is hurting for her right now. Her faith and strength are amazing ot me.
I love your "sappy" post.
Weird... Brian is a man. LOL Definitely can't think him in a "hot" kind of way but I can say he is one awesome guy and I'm proud to be his cousin! You guys have made it through the test of time. That's huge!
