Our day in Yellowstone was a busy one! :) We went to Old Faithful and then drove to the waterfalls...
Old Faithful...
This is what it looked like when we first got there, it had approximately an hour before it would go off...
So we went to the Lodge and looked around and did some shopping...
This is a replica of the original buses that they used... I thought they were so cool!
These next few pictures are from inside the Old Faithful Lodge... It is awesome!
OK, this lady had us all shaking our heads... Do you see how close she was getting to that dumb buffalo?! All for a stupid picture!
Now check this out... Notice the sign? And if you look in the middle-left of this picture, you'll see the lady by the buffalo! Pay attention to the signs people!!
We were headed back to see Old Faithful go off and we of course had to stop and take pictures in front of the sign! I love the kids feet in this one!!
Michayla stepped in to help Maci out! :)
My brother and sister and I...
When we were there 10 years ago, we have a picture of Kolby and I in front of this sign... So in honor of Kolby I took this picture..
Miss you Bub!
And then Kernan wanted his picture taken too, so I had my family come hop in! You gotta get the pictures when you can with him! He's either in the mood or he's not! ;)
All the tourist waiting to see Old Faithful...
The kids patiently waiting for something to happen!
It was so funny, the geyser would start to spray up a little and everyone in the crowd would get excited, and then it would stop! It was hilarious!
Here it goes!!
I couldn't decided which one I liked better so I just put both on!
Kernan wanted to be like the big kids and walk on the curb...
Do you see those big red bumps on the back of my arms? Mosquito bites!!
Grandpa bought Kernan his cool raccoon hat! Dad says it's a tradition! He even bought one for himself this time! I haven't gotten his picture yet... Next time I'm with him! :D
Someone left this Pepsi on the bench so I had to get a picture of it! :)
Again, I liked both of these so I put both on.. I'm going to have to print this and hang it in my kitchen!
Then we were off to the waterfalls...
Kernan was enjoying the view!
SNOW! I don't like snow! We figured this patch must not melt because the water from the waterfall is so cold.
A buffalo! This is the only form of wildlife we saw in Yellowstone! While we were loading the car the morning we left Yellowstone there was an Elk right by our Lodge, but besides that it was just a lot of buffalo!
Another view of the waterfall... It's so pretty!
I liked Yellowstone... Except for the mosquitoes!! They just LOVE me and I HATE them!! So I stayed indoors at night as much as possible! They still ate me alive! Brian watched one land on his arm and then just fly away, they don't like him.. Me, they attack! Stupid bugs!
More pictures from our trip still coming! That's right, I've got more!! But for now, I'm going to go enjoy my Sister-in-law and nephews that are visiting me right now!! :)
Happy Weekend!

I can't believe the crazy lady with the buffalo! Do yo remember the seal on the beach in Hawaii the year we all went? There was a few crazy people there too! What people will do for a picture.
Its beautiful!
I want to go there now! You look so great Jess! The kids are as cute as ever.
I love the raccoon hat and the picture of the kids (feet). Holy crow lady, you need to walk around with a fabric softener sheet in your pocket. The mosquitoes won't like you then. I need to remember that when I go. The waterfall look beautiful and so did the lodge. Also, the tourist pix was crazy.
first of all, wow. amazing pictures. just wow. Second, I heard that if you put a dryer sheet in your pocket it will ward off mosquitoes. Try it?
