One of my favorite parts about going to Mickey's house is finding the characters!! Since Maci was 3 we've bought an autograph book, the one where they sign one side and you put the picture on the other side of the page... Maci still has all of hers from the past years! I love to look through them and see how she's changed! I know she likes to look at them all the time too!!
This was the first year we bought one for Kernan... He talked for days before about how he was going to find Mickey and give him a "high 5" and when he found Goofy he was going to give him "rock"! Goofy is Kolby's favorite and he'd be proud to know that he's Kernan's favorite as well! Ü
They're always the first things we buy when we walk into the park! Right at the first stand just before you enter Main St., you never know who's going to be around the corner and it's best to be prepared!! We were prepared for about 4 hours! We didn't see any characters until we went to Splash Mountain and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger were in "Pooh Corner"! That's the longest I've ever gone without seeing ONE character!
After we bought Kernan's book, I thought... "Crap, I hope he likes the characters and doesn't just run away! That would be a waste of money!" And of course when we finally saw our first ones of the day he was sound asleep!! Isn't that how it always works?! Ü
So just Maci was able to get these guys...
Winnie the Pooh..
...and Tigger too!
OK, seriously, is this not adorable?! Payton was totally checking Tigger out! I just love this picture!
After we left them, we walked back through the park and everyone went on the Haunted Mansion ride while I sat out with Kernan... Well while they were on the ride, he woke up! So he and I ran back to meet Pooh and his friends!!
He walked right up to Pooh and handed him his book...
And then stood far off to the side while Pooh and Tigger signed it! haha!!
And wouldn't stand by himself to take a picture with them, so Mom was in it too!! Ü
And we were lucky because while we were in line Eeyore came out as well!! So he got to meet him! Again, went right up and handed him his book...
But Mom had to be in the picture with him!
On our way out of the park to go to dinner we spotted the "guy" we had been looking for all day! Besides Mickey Mouse!
GOOFY!
Kernan had NO problems with Goofy!! He stood there and just smiled from ear to ear!

Goofy really liked Kernan too... Must have been the shirt Kernan was wearing! hehe! He started tickling him...
Gave him bunny ears...
And as we walked away, Kernan turned and gave Goofy rock!! Uncle Kolby would be SO proud!
Right next to Goofy there was Pluto!! I love how he has to put his book up on his nose to be able to see where he's signing!! So cute!
I think it's safe to say, Kernan LOVED the characters!! The autograph book was a good investment!!
Pluto got a High 5 when we left!
That was the last character for the day!! I was disappointed that we didn't see more! We did see Mickey, but he had a LONG line and was in his Halloween costume, so we decided to save him for first thing Friday morning and we'd head straight back to Toontown to see him in his house!!
So that's what we did!! First thing Friday we hit Toontown... We first waited in Minnie's line in front of her house...

While we were in line waiting for Minnie we saw Goofy outside his house across the street taking pictures and signing autographs... Kernan saw him and said, "Hey, Goofy change him shirt!" haha! To cute!! He was right! He wasn't in his Halloween costume, he was in just his plain clothes!
So we of course got his autograph too!! Maci missed out on getting this Goofy's autograph, she ran off with Jordan and I couldn't find her...
And he gave him "rock" again!
After Toontown, we went to find Woody and Jesse and Jack Sparrow... Well we found out that we had seen all the ones Disneyland had, I guess October is considered the "off season"! Bummer!! Kernan was looking forward to showing Woody that he was on his shirt! Oh well...
So it was off to California Adventure! There we got to see Mator!!
And Lightening McQueen!! Maci was riding Soarin' over California so she didn't get her picture taken with them, I don't think that bothered her too much though! Ü

Then, as luck would have it, we went to get in line for the new Toy Story Mania ride and outside was Jesse!! So we did get to meet them after all!
And they told us that Woody would be out in 15 minutes! So Daddy and Eric saved our spots in line for the ride and we waited to meet Woody!!
Woody was having fun with Maci! He wasn't to sure about her Tinkerbell autograph book, I think he wanted to know why he wasn't on her book!!
So he threw her book up on his hat!! And then flung it onto the floor!! haha!! She was cracking up!! But he liked Kernan, and he really liked Kernan's shirt!! Ü
So those were all the characters we found! I still can't believe I didn't see any princesses!! When I was 16 and we went to Disneyland as a family, I even found Cinderella!! I have a picture of just me and her!! There was one trip to Disney when Maci was 3 that we devoted the entire trip to finding ALL the princesses!! And this trip we didn't see one!! I guess we need to go back so we can find Cinderella at least!! hehe!!

Great pictures again today! Love Kernan giving Goofy "rock" your right Uncle Kolby is going to love that one too! I can't believe how brave Kernan really was! That is awesome! Oh, and I like you shirt too! Lol
I love Disneyland so much!! It looks like you guys had soooo much fun there!!! Kernan is at such an awesome age to go there, it will be something that he will always remember fondly!!
I love that you guys wore the perfect shirts, just by chance on the right days. The Woody thing is hysterical. My son just went out back to pee in the grass! I can't get him to come see the pictures, I'll show him later. No Princess! Crazy. The autograph book is smart, this way they have to walk up to them.
K - Here is T's comments - - He came inside, sat on my lap, chillin', until Mator. "MATOR!!!", then "Lightening McQueen", while sitting up all excited. "Lightening got new tires (on the first pix there are tires in the background)"Mator is staying with Lightening", "Woody", "Woody took the book off his hat (I didn't think he would notice)". Now as I am typing, he has said woody like 20 times. We are going to see Toy Story 1 and 2 at the movie theater today, his first time.
