Saturday we were off for some sight seeing... We started off by heading to the Newport Beach Temple. We were all excited to walk around the grounds and take some fun pictures, when we got there the gates were closed. We forgot about General Conference and the Temple grounds being closed! So we took some outside the gates instead. Ü
All our kiddies...
I'd say with as many kids as we have, getting a group shot of them could have been a lot worse! Ü
Ball Family...
Adorable Hunter!
Sweet Jade!
She is so pretty! Eric and Shawna are going to be in trouble!!
Our Family...
I don't really care for this picture of myself, but don't my kids look adorable?! They love each other! Really, they do!! Ü
Tacderan Ohana...
Our sweet Jordan!
'Are you done Auntie?!'
Tehemani...
And Payton!
He is such a doll!
And I really like this picture as well, so I threw it in!
After we took pictures, we went in the Stake Center across from the Temple, for a potty break. Inside they had old church artifacts... This is an original Book of Mormon!
An odometer that was used on the Mormon Battalion Trek!
And this is SO cool! A ten dollar bill with the Prophet Joseph Smith's original signature!! Is that not awesome?!
So after the Temple, we headed to the Beach!!
This was Kernan's first time seeing the ocean!! When we got there he said to Brian, "Whoa, that a BIG lake!" haha!!
One of the fishermen caught a Stingray, and on the other side there was a shark!! Pretty cool!
The girlies, taking in the sights...
Here's the shark...
All the kiddos again... Except the two littlest. You'd never know it in this picture but Kernan is totally throwing a fit!! Love the glasses!!
We had to take a picture by the "Dory" sign!!!
I seriously love this picture!! It'll be blown up big and hung in the house! Ü
I like this one too!
Fun picture...
After I was done taking pictures under the pier, I walked back over to the kids and spotted this in the sand! I love it!! You'll notice "Maci J" is written, Jordan is the ONLY person I know that calls Maci that! Maci loves it that she does that too!
The girls with their masterpieces!
Then I joined in on the fun!
And Kernan wanted to do it too... He always wants to do what his Sister does!
So Mommy helped out, and he posed so nicely!!
Quick side story... When I was getting him dressed that morning I asked him if he wanted to wear his NEW Mickey Mouse shirt he had gotten or his "Uncle Kolby Shirt"... He chose his Uncle Kolby Shirt!! That made me smile!! Ü
I liked this pose too!
Maci, doing her Baywatch run... Not that she knows what "Baywatch" even is!! haha!
She does it well though!
She is SO pretty! I know I'm her Mom and I'm supposed to say that, but seriously...
LOOK at this girl!!
Then Kernan was "dancing" in the sand, and getting his hands dirty!
Jordan, showing me her dirty hands too!
And the main reason I wanted to go... I wanted to attempt some fun family beach pictures... Thanks to Kalei shooting my camera, we got some cute ones!
And I always like the looking away pictures, although I wish we would have walked down to the water.. Oh well, next time!
I think I'm a bit obsessed with the "old school" look...
So that was our day spent in Newport Beach... After wards, our family went to the Orange County Swap meet and the rest went shopping at "the block".
Then we went back to the hotel, where the girls went crazy jumping on the hotel beds! My Mom has always said that hotel beds were for jumping on... Well these two did her proud!!
Check out the video!! Crazy Monkeys!
A funny thing to add to the video, Kernan slept through all of that! He was OUT in his stroller! That kid can sleep through anything! He proved that on this trip, fireworks and those loud girls!!
Alright, so Lilo and Stitch's breakfast tomorrow... Good Night! Ü

I think this is my favorite blog entry from your trip. Maybe because of the Newport Beach pictures, I think half of my teenage summers were spent there! Good memories, and great pictures! Loved the pictures of Maci J, she is very beautiful ;) and am so glad that her and Jordan had so much fun together.
"No More Monkeys Jumpin on the Bed!!" Till Thursday anyway! ;) Yippee......
Looks so great! good times!
The sun was out and everything! Great pictures. When we went in June it was freezing! Oh and Maci is beautiful!!! It's not just you. She is going to be a head turner!
You guys are vacationing maniacs! Those kids really have a lot going on in their lives. Glad you got to hook up with your friends!
K, I'm trying to get caught up on your blog! Sheesh, you've been busy! But I just had to say, that YES! Maci is a VERY beautiful girl, she could be a model, seriously! And I also really like the "old school" look of pictures too! I'll catch up more later.
