On New Years Eve, Eve my Mom, Kernan and I headed to Vegas to do some shoppin'!! The next day Brian and the kids were going to meet us there to switch back...
When we left my Mom's house, I sent this picture to Brian. The message read, "We're going to Vegas in sTyLe!"
Of course being the nice daughter that I am, I offered to drive the entire way... Ya, the truth is, my Mom doesn't drive her car at all when I'm around!! hehe!
Kernan was riding in style and cOmFoRt for sure!! This is what he looked like when we stopped in Kingman for lunch... Does he not look comfortable?! Ya, his life is ruff! Ü
Once in Vegas, we headed straight to the outlets on Las Vegas Blvd... We really like those ones, and this trip they had some AWESOME deals!! We stopped in the FOX store and I got Kernan this hat. When I put it on him he said, "Mom, I look SICK!" haha!! You're right bub, you do look good!
After shopping we went to our hotel and checked in... Kernan was SO entertaining!! We figured it must have been the 44oz of Pepsi he drank while we were at the outlets! We got a Pepsi when we first got there, and between the 3 of us, Kernan drank probably 80% of it! When we got our free refill, Mom and I wouldn't let him drink hardly any of that one!! He had had enough!!
We headed to Chili's for dinner and he was still wired!! Mom and I were laughing so hard at him! He is such a goof!! Well talk about going from 60 mph to 0 in a heart beat... That's what he did!! One minute he was high as a kite, the next minute he was about asleep in my arms!! Here he is "enjoying" his dinner!! It was crazy!
So obviously all those pictures where taken with my phone... Not the best quality! The next morning I got my actual camera out and got some pictures of him jumping on the hotel beds... It's always been a rule that we can't jump on any beds EXCEPT hotel beds! So my siblings, and my kids always love to go to hotels!! Ü

Check out his sweet "chocolate" shoes he got at the outlets... When we got up that morning he didn't want these on, he wanted his black ones on... So to help persuade him to want to wear them, we told him they were his chocolate milk shoes! He was ok with them after that! I love converse! Kernan, Maci and I all got a pair from the outlets!
Look... A monkey!
Landed safely on his blankey!! Ü
Once we met up with Brian and the kids, we all headed home! Kernan did not want to go home! He kept saying "No we not go home, we go to Grandma's!" It was sad!! But then I told him that we still had presents to open when we got to our house, and he was ok!
So as soon as we unloaded the car we had our LAST Christmas celebration! Just in time to ring in the new year!
It's amazing how fast the presents become unwrapped and a mess takes place! But I wouldn't change it for anything!
After we were done opening presents we headed to my cousin Lori's house to eat and ring in the new year... We ended up heading home around 10 but Maci stayed there and slept over with Lori's niece and stayed up to ring in 2010!!
The next morning when I woke up, this is what I saw... Bruno asleep in our suitcase! I don't think he wanted me to leave him again, and if I did, he was coming with me! Ü
So that sums up our 2009... Onto 2010!!
On another note... Elder Peterson has been out on his mission for 6 months today!! Only 18 months left to go!! Yay!!

Chucks do rock!! T's brown chucks are my favorite, Phil and I both want brown ones too. T is on his 4th or 5th pair. I want to get a picture of all our feet in them, lined up. sooo cute! He looks so comfy in the car, foot propped and all.
