I know, you all are thinking I'm crazy! Mondays are the days we all dread, and 6 1/2 months ago I was right there with you! Monday's sucked...
Then my Brother went out on his mission and MONDAYS have changed! We get our weekly email from Kolby on Mondays, and my Mom and I seriously usually sit around the computer all day, and if we aren't able to be sitting by our computer, we both have our Blackberries just in case! Getting our emails on our phones is the BEST! Especially on Monday!
So yesterday, was Monday... Ü My Mom and I were beginning to think he couldn't find a computer in his new area! But yesterday afternoon we finally heard from him! He's doing SO good!
Anyway, while I was typing to him, Kernan came into my room, I told him I was talking to Kolby, he looked at my computer and said, "No you not." I think he expected to see him on my computer screen like when we talk to my family on the webcam. But Kolby wasn't on there. So I said, "Look, I type him a letter with the keys and he gets it."
Kernan said, "Oh, I do that?!"
So Kernan sat and typed Kolby a letter, here it is:

Isn't that so cute!! He sure loves Kolby! He talks about him all the time! He loves the fact that he got to talk to Kolby first on Christmas, he'll tell ya all about it if you ask him!

Somehow the kids play cell phones ended up in the church bag, so Kernan was playing with both of them, I asked him who he was talking to and he said, "Kolby!" and I said, "On both the phones?" and he said, "YEP!"
I'm so glad Kernan can look up to my brother, because he really does look up to him!! There isn't a day that goes by where we haven't talked about Kolby at least once! He'll tell you where Kolby is when you ask him,

Okay now I'm crying! My newest favorite blog entry! I love how these two love each other and it's becoming very apparent that there is not a chance that Kernan is "going to forget" his Uncle Kolby! I am very grateful that Kolby is being such a good role model for all of us ;) And yep, I do love Mondays!

I usually don't read other comments, but I couldn't help but read your Mom's. It's such a blessing for Kolby to go on a mission. Kernan and him are so flippin' cute. They will be inseperable for weeks when he comes back.
Oh do I remember e-mail days. But Sam's was on Wednesday. Kolby is so lucky to have such a great family. And YES, I am sad we are not moving to Southern Utah. I was really looking forward to hanging out with you, and some warm weather!
