Hippity Hoppity Happy Easter!

Look at me blogging the same day!  Don't count on it happening all the time! Ü
We had a fun filled weekend!  Hope you all did too!
I really liked having Easter on General Conference weekend!  I always look forward to Conference for the opportunity to listen to the Prophet and his apostles and all other leaders of our Church, such a great weekend to get Spiritually feed!  And then to reflect on Easter today while listening to them speak to us was just awesome!
Onto pictures from our weekend...  On Friday I boiled our eggs to dye because we were headed out to the desert to hang out with my Uncles and families (once again I didn't take ONE picture out there!!  I will next time, promise.) so we weren't going to get to color them until Saturday.  I wanted to make sure they were at least ready to go! Ü

Saturday night after we went to Abuelo's with my Grandparents for dinner, unpacked the truck, changed the flat tire on the truck and washed both the cars, we got busy! Ü  The kids loved it!  Don't mind Kernan in his underwear...  I didn't want his clothes to get ruined, and truth be told, the kid would rather be naked than dressed any day!

I was having fun playing around with my camera while they decorated...  I was trying to get a fun shot of him holding one of the eggs, and I snapped like 4 or 5 and I took this one and he said, "Mom, did you get the shot that time?"  Is he a photographer's son or what?! Ü

It takes a lot of con.cen.tra.tion.  Can't you see it in her face?!

I did this one for Kolby! Ü

Kernan wanted me to write this on one of his eggs for his BEST BUDDY!

Kernan liked making the plain colored ones get funny faces!

Here are all the finished eggs, didn't they turn out awesome?! Ü  Just kidding, I was playing with my camera and thought this looked cool!

After the first session of General Conference we headed over to my Grandma and Grandpa's house to eat Easter "lunch" and watch afternoon Conference.  When we got there, my Grandma had put together an Easter Egg Hunt for all 7 of the kids!  They were so excited!  She had it color coded and they each had 7 eggs to find...

Kernan found all his green ones!

After the hunt we had a yummy Easter meal and then we all sat around the tv and watched Conference together...  What a great way to spend Easter!  Ever since we lost Broc Easter has been a very special holiday in our house.  I'm so thankful for my knowledge of Jesus Christ and what he did for me, my family and everyone!
Hope you all had a great Easter Sunday too!!

Lol, too cute! I'm one of those lame-o parents who never dyes eggs with her kids. My kids don't even know what they're missing out on. Maybe next year...

I meant to write this so long ago but forgot. Maci looks so grown up and beautiful! She's going to need a stick to beat off the boys.
