Look how pretty?!?

OK, Maci is going to kill me when she gets home from school today! Kernan got into her princess lip gloss today, and he even put it on his lips! He was probably eating it but whatever... Not only did his lips get glossed so did his hands, cheeks, arms and tummy! He got Mac n Cheese all over his shirt so he was shirtless! Its so fun having "us" time during the day!

This is his other favorite thing to do while I'm in my office... Climb in my boxes! He will empty them out and then climb in! Funny boy!

I just found where he put all the lip gloss on..... My poor chair now needs a bath!!

Our Weekend...

We had a fun weekend! Brian and I enjoyed our night away from the kiddos! That resort is really nice, very kid friendly! We would like to go back there with them! They show a movie down by the pool so you can swim and watch it! Fun stuff! Then we went to Tatum's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese! Those two are so cute together, hopefully we'll be friends with them for a long time! Then we came home and Maci and I went to the mall and got her some back to school clothes. Since they did away with uniforms at our school... I'm not to happy about that but it has been fun to dress Maci up! On our way home Maci said " Mom I'm so lucky I got to do 3 fun things today! I got to go to Grandma's and then to Tatum's party and SHOPPING!" It was so cute! She is getting to be such a big girl! It makes me sad sometimes! But it's fun at the same time! She was listening to my iPod on the way home singing High School Musical 2 soundtrack at the top of her lungs! So cute!!

Life needs to slow down a bit...

I feel like I've been going non stop lately! With Maci in school, I have to go drop her off and pick her up... 12 years of that is going to be old, it's only been 10 days!! She is loving it though! Friday's are spirit days, and so she wears her shirt, this is a picture of her and her friend Tatum last Friday on spirit day, us Mom's decided to do their hair the same.... It's so fun! Her Mom and I have been doing stuff during the day while they are at school.... School days as a Mom go by so much faster then when I was a kid.... Huh Jo?!?

I started school last night, it's going to be a lot of fun! I am really going to like it! I came home and couldn't go to sleep because I had so much going through my head! When I left Brian and the kids were outside and I was in the car talking to Brian and as I drove down the street I saw in my rear view mirror, Kernan staring at the car as I drove away... :( It made me kinda sad. And then when I got home Brian said he started bawling when he couldn't see me anymore and Brian just ignored him and kept working in the yard and so Kernan went back to his lawn mower too, but he was still crying... How sad! I have such a Mommy's boy!!

Well, anyway... Brian and I are going to stay at the Carefree Resort tonight for fun! My Mom has offered to watch our kids! I'm so excited, it's only the second time in Kernan's whole 16 months of life I've been away from him all night!! I really need more! I'll update ya on how that is... We have heard that the Resort is really nice so were excited to have a night to ourselves!! Hope you guys all have a great weekend!!

Wanna a Piano??

I'm selling this one for $100 if you or someone you know is interested contact me! I know for those of you who have been in my house are going "What?!?" She has had "place piano here" on her wall for a year!! Haha! I know!

Here is the deal: I got this one off Craigslist, the piano works great but the wood needs to be refinished and I just don't have the time to do it! So my Mother in law has one at her house that she has offered me, it works great and doesn't need to be refinished! So I'm selling this one to pay for my backdrop stands, those of you who have gotten your picture taken by me know that this is the wall I used to put my backdrop up on! So I need the stands and they are about $100! It's a great deal for this piano, like I said it works Great!! So contact me if you're interested!

In other updates...

Maci is having a wonderful time at Kindergarten! She has made all sorts of friends and has eaten lunch in the cafeteria! It really hit me yesterday as I was standing in the cafeteria paying for lunches that I really have a school kid! I kinda got sad for a minute!! But she loves it!

Kernan I think officially misses her... today we were walking around Costco and he kept putting his had up in the air like I do when I say "Where's sister" he kept doing it and making a cute noise like trying to say it! I figure he misses her cuz that is the only time I do that motion... (Does that make sense?) I'll try and get a picture of him doing it... so it will make more sense.

I am officially a "college student"! Yes! I have an ID so I get a discount on movie tickets!! Whoot whoot!! I'm going to the local community college and taking a photoshop class, so I can better myself! I'm really excited about it! I love taking pictures!!! Why didn't I do this years ago!?! Also, I'm in the process of getting a website... So I'm offering discounted prices for anyone who is willing to let me use their pictures on my site! You can contact me for those prices! I'll post here when my site is up and running!

First Day of Kindergarten!

Well, it's official we are now the parents of a school age child! Maci's first day was today and she was so excited! She was up early and dressed and ready early! Perfect, since I had to get pictures!! So here they are...

Everyone has to have one by the front door, right?!

This is who is going to miss her the most! It hasn't really hit him yet I don't think!

Walking into class, I know her eyes are closed but it's still a cute picture, she's holding my hand..
Sitting at her desk, she just walked right in put her backpack away and was totally fine! That "Jump Start" Kindergarten she went to a couple of weeks ago was a really smart thing for the school to do! She had 2 weeks to get to know how everything worked and got to know her teacher so she was very comfortable walking into class!The whole fam... Brian took the morning off so he could send her off too!
He wanted to stay with her I'm sure! I love how much these two LOVE each other! I'm sure fighting will come but for now I'm enjoying the love!
They had a "Boo Woo" breakfast for the parents after you dropped your child off... Well my friend Joanna and I aren't really "Boo Wooin" so we went and took our two younger kids to breakfast to "Celebrate"! hehehe

So I'm very excited! I'm typing this from my Brand New MacBook! I just got it in the mail! Whoo Whoo! I'm having fun learning how to do everything, but so far everything I've heard and read about them is turning out true!! Hope you all have a great week! I'll report later in the week on how our Kindergartner is doing!

Happy 25th Anniversary!

My parents are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today! I just wanted to publicly tell them that I love them and am so glad I have their examples in my life! Hope you have a wonderful day! They are going to Jamaica in September to celebrate (lucky!) We love you guys!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

So Tuesday was my Grandma's birthday, and she got into town yesterday so we had cake and ice cream last night. She is so funny, she doesn't now how to work the computer at all so when we were there last month I showed her how to get onto the internet and check my blog so she has everyday since then. Well this past week when there wasn't a blog entry for a few days she asked me yesterday if I had updated it and I told her yes and she said Finally! Hahaha!







While we were there my Mom put up the blow up slide for the kids, here is Maci's hands full of grass and prunies!
Kernan figured out how to turn the water up and down so he had fun doing that to the kids! :)

This is the view our neighbors see when they drive down the road, all Truck and no Garage! The funniest thing to me is the difference between the size of our two trucks! Yes we still have the blue Yukon, it's still for sale if anyone knows of someone that wants it... Please contact us!

All the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House, we have great appreciation for that place because of the way they treated our friends in Oregon when they were in Portland with their daughter at the hospital. So we always make it a point every year to go get a blizzard on these days! Whats better then giving your money to a great cause and getting ice cream out of it at the same time?!? So you know where we are headed tonight!! :)

One Two and Three

These two girls were my best friends in Oregon! Cameo Laura and I did everything together! My parents named them 2 and 3, and still call them that on occasion. I have so many wonderful memories with these gals!This picture was taken at Cameo's open house in Tucson last Friday. What are the chances that all 3 of us would marry Arizonian boys?? For me it was more likely since I moved here my freshman year but when these two told me where their fiances were from I was shocked! Now Laura lives close and we are trying to get Cameo to want to move down here as soon as Allen is done at BYU. We shall see! That would be so cool!
Thanks again Cam for letting me tag along and take pictures at your wedding! I had so much fun doing it and am so thankful I could be there to see you get married! Allen is an awesome guy and you too will be so happy together! Love ya!
