Peach Days!

It has been a bit of a crazy weekend at the Mandile home! I had a booth at the Peach Days festival here in town so we've been busy getting things ready and then we were down there all afternoon Friday and all day Saturday! It was a lot of fun! I got to meet a lot of fun people! And was able to get my name and my work out there so now hopefully I'll get some more sessions!! I've missed not being very busy with client work since we've had such a hectic summer and moved to a new place, so hopefully with the Holiday picture season quickly approaching, I'll get to have some fun with other families and not just my own! ;)

I took some pictures of my booth, mainly for my Mom who didn't get to see it, obviously since she is in AZ! haha!

Here's my set up... Not the best picture, the lighting wasn't really in my favor... This was just before the parade ended and the fun started! Ü

I had a bunch of my pictures hanging up on chicken wire... It was fun to print off my clients photos! They look so much better printed off then on the computer screen!!

My table and banner... Steamroller Copies here in town did my banner for me! I designed it but they printed it. I was really happy with how it came out!

I thought I'd put some pictures I had in my booth on here just for fun... They are some oldies from past shoots I hadn't looked at in awhile...
Here's Kernan last year at Halloween! I ALWAYS smile when I look at this picture! Even more when it's an 11x14 print! I'm telling you, much better then on the computer screen!
Cutest Wall-E in the Universe!

On Saturday morning Maci's teacher and her family sang, my booth was right by the stage so I had free entertainment the entire festival! Maci was so excited to watch her teacher!! Here she is watching Miss Stout with her friend Sierra from her class...

They lasted about half hour and then they were off playing again! haha!

To add to our busy weekend, Friday night we had a major thunder and lightening storm! Normally I love them, but I was SO worried about my stuff I left at the school!! Thankfully I moved it all to the middle of the tent and my wonderful Hubby went down there in the middle of the rain at 1:30am to check on it all, and it was fine!! But it took awhile for us to fall back asleep! While we were watching the storm Brian saw lightening hit the ground at our neighbors house across the street and I swear I saw one hit at the school by our house (where Peach Days was held!) So we were a bit wired! And of course our kids slept through it!! How do they do that?!
Then we got home on Saturday night and went to turn on our A/C because we were warm at around 2am and it wouldn't come on, it kept tripping the breaker... So Brian tried one more time and all the sudden we heard a loud noise like someone was blowing out a bunch of air, and Brian noticed that freon from the A/C was dripping off the roof! So we think it must have gotten hit by lightening in the storm the night before!! We should find that out for sure tomorrow! Crazy, huh?! So, anyway, that was our hectic weekend! I'm exhausted and plan to spend my Labor Day tomorrow relaxing and editing some pictures!! Ü

If you saw me at Peach Days this weekend, leave me a comment and let me know you stopped by!! Yep the storm was crazy!!! We were up watching it too! It even woke Chase up, I was totally shocked. Ryan took my carmera out and took 22 videos of it! Oh yeah, we came by your booth but you know that already! It looked good!
